The WOWOW Gallery x Lula B: Exploring Codependency Through AI and Lenticular Art
We’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration at The WOWOW Gallery: a limited-edition lenticular print with the visionary multidisciplinary creative, Lula B. Known for her ability to blur the boundaries between digital and physical design, Lula’s practice merges graphics, video, photography, typography, AI, and immersive experiences into works that feel both contemporary and timeless.
Who is Lula B?
Lula B is a rising creative force whose work sits at the cutting edge of visual culture. With strong technical skills across Adobe Suite, AI video and image systems, and advanced video editing platforms, she builds immersive projects that push technology into the realm of emotion and storytelling.
A graduate of Ravensbourne University with a first-class BA in Graphic Design, Lula’s path included an internship at Milan’s iconic TOILETPAPER Magazine. There, she honed her disruptive sensibilities, grew her international creative network, and developed an instinct for crafting bold, culture-shaping visuals.
At the heart of her practice lies a fascination with artificial intelligence. Lula doesn’t just use AI - she designs her own systems to generate tailored outcomes, creating worlds that are simultaneously beautiful and unsettling.
Codependency: The New Lenticular Print
Our debut collaboration, Codependency by Lula B, is a haunting meditation on intimacy, imbalance, and the darker edges of human connection.
In the work, a woman clings to a monstrous figure, kissing it with tenderness. Her features—soft, blonde, and delicate—contrast starkly with the grotesque creature she embraces. The monster, instinctual and unfeeling, cannot reciprocate. Yet she clings tighter, bound by need, survival, or identity.
It’s an unsettling reflection of toxic relationships and emotional codependency: the way love can twist into desperation, and how we sometimes tether ourselves to what consumes us.
Adding another layer of intensity, Lula folds herself into the work. The woman is not anonymous but drawn from Lula’s own likeness - her face shape, features, and colouring subtly morphed into the subject. This makes the piece both deeply personal and universal, a confession masked as mythology.
Why Lenticular?
The lenticular print format heightens the unease at the core of Codependency. As the viewer shifts, the embrace flickers, changes, and refuses to stay still, mirroring the unstable energy of codependent love. It’s a perfect fusion of Lula’s interest in AI, technology, and emotional storytelling, brought to life in a tactile, collectible medium.
